Secondly, the Government is not forming/approving proper layouts in the out-skirts/sub-urban areas, leading to which the private players in their competition are finding such properties and increase the cost of land to their sweet wish and will. Added to this, the In-direct expenses such as Direct Tax, In-direct tax, Plan Approval cost, Construction License cost, bribe in various departments/offices, besides the Stamp Duty costs are also the facts for increase in cost of houses. In fact these vital issues are to be sorted out by the Government by way of implementing the single-window process, which reduces the burden of the general public who aspire to obtain sanctions/approvals for construction of house.
Thirdly, now-a-days the increase in the cost of construction material, labour charges etc., are also causing hindrance because of the Government policies or the lack of it.
As such, the Government has to formulate a scheme to arrange supply of construction material at concessional rates
Government has to make an effective arrangement to ensure the housing for all.
